How to hack Linux password?

Ever forgot your Linux password? Here is the way out.


1. Go to boot screen.

2. Select Linux and press e.

3. Select the 2nd option from the list and again press e.

4. Delete the line till \ (slash) and write 1 instead of that.

5. Press enter and then press b for boot.

6. Now Linux starts booting and command prompt comes after few seconds.

7. Write passwd( to change password) on the prompt and press enter.

8. Enter your new password and press enter.

9. After processing when prompt becomes idle, write exit on prompt and press enter.

10. Computer will restart and boot the system with Linux OS.

11. When the Login screen comes enter username as root and password which you have given earlier at the prompt.

You have succesfully hacked the Linux root password which is the core.

How to display your Favourite Pic as a wallpaper inside a folder?

To display any image as a wallpaper inside a folder what you have to do is to copy the text given

below in a notepad.

Copy the text given below:

iconarea_image="C:\picture1.jpg"

iconarea_text=0x00000000

Here the second line ( iconarea_image ) determines the location of your wallpaper and third line

( iconarea_text ) represents the file text color i.e. file or folder name will appear in the color

which you determine in iconarea_text. You can set this to any color.

Now save this file inside the folder where you want to display the image. Save this file as

desktop.ini and type should be All Files. Close that window and open it again. That's it, now your

desired pic is displayed in that folder.

How to bypass BIOS password protection?

Here are some methods to bypass your BIOS password if you forget them.

1st Method

To protect your computer from friends and unknown people, we usually set a BIOS password so that no one can start and harm our system. But what if we itself forget our password. This can be a big problem as we can't even format the system. So how to bypass BIOS password to start our operating system if we forget it.

Here is the process to bypass your BIOS password when you forget it. It requires you to do some hardware changes. Your system consists of a battery which stores the information of your CMOS (BIOS) like date and time , BIOS passwords , some hardware details etc. So to bypass

BIOS password what you have to do is :

1. TURN OFF your computer.

2. Remove the battery.

3. Start the computer without Battery.

4 Again TURN OFF your computer.

5. Insert the Battery and start the computer.

Now you will not be asked to enter the BIOS password. This happens because when you remove your battery it gets reset to default settings. Thus when you insert it again it doesn't have any stored information about password and starts normally.

2nd Method

This is a password hack but it clears the BIOS such that the next time you start the PC, the CMOS does not ask for any password. Now if you are able to bring the DOS prompt up, then you will be able to change the BIOS setting to the default. To clear the CMOS do the following:

Get DOS prompt and type:

DEBUG hit enter

-o 70 2e hit enter

-o 71 ff hit enter

-q hit enter

exit hit enter

Restart the computer. Now you will not be asked for BIOS password, the operating system starts without any interruption. It does not work on every BIOS manufacturer. It works on most versions of the AWARD BIOS.

How To Remove Virus from your Computer

As we all know virus is a computer program that can copy itself and infects computer files without the user knowing it. Virus are very irritating and causes harmful effects on the system such as damaging files,deleting files etc.Virus mainly enter the system through internet or downloaded softwares. So to stop virus to enter your system you must have a good firewall and a antivirus.

Now i will tell you how to remove virus from your computer when it has infected your computer. Before starting you must have the software TuneUp Utilities 2006 or 2007. This software is also useful in performing other tasks like Disk Cleanup,Maintenance wizard,TuneUp Shredder and Undelete etc. But the most important tasks are the Inbuilt Task Manager Know as Tune Up Process Manager, Registry Editor and Managing Startup Programs. These are the programs which will help you remove virus from your system. You must keep track of which are the common programs that are always running in the Tune Up Process Manager to differentiate between virus and system program.

Lets get started - Suppose you have a virus in your system. Run TuneUp and open the TuneUp Process Manager(you will find it under Administrative Control). Just check the list. If you have already tracking the programs earlier you will immediately find the virus if any. Otherwise check for unknown programs or symbols(sometimes in red color). When you have identified the virus right click on it and see properties,there u will get the location of the file. Go to TuneUp Shredder and delete that file.Be cautious don't delete anything thatis a important OS file otherwise it can have adverse effect on your system even OS failure.

There are also some virus which are present in your computer but you can't find them in Process Manager. For that you have to check Tune Up StartUp Programs(you will find it under Customize and Analyze).It contains a list of programs that are started when the computer is Powered ON. To identify a virus using startup programs, 1. Check its Manufacturer - It must be Unknown Manufacturer. 2. Rating must it Not Trustworthy. 3. Its Name should not be of a important program or software running on your system. Again after identifying the virus locate its position using properties and delete it using Shredder. Be cautious don't deleteanything that is a important OS file otherwise it can have adverse effect on your system even OS failure. When every a program is installed on windows, the program information is entered inside Windows Registry. Virus information is also stored there. To remove every information of virus and to undo the changes made by it we use Registry Editor(you will find it under Administrative Control).Search the name of the virus and delete everything that you find about virus from registry.Be cautious don't delete everything that u find in search result otherwise it can have adverse effect on your system even OS failure.

One trick to undo changes made by virus is to correct the Show Hidden Folders tab of FolderOptions.Before performing it you must clear all virus from the system which affects this part. To correct this search showall in Registry Editor and double-click value in brackets - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced\Folder\Hidden\SHOWALL. Go to CheckedValue in that and change its data to 0x000000001 or simply 1. Refreshand check weather problem has been corrected or not.
