Ever forgot your Linux password? Here is the way out.
1. Go to boot screen.
2. Select Linux and press e.
3. Select the 2nd option from the list and again press e.
4. Delete the line till \ (slash) and write 1 instead of that.
5. Press enter and then press b for boot.
6. Now Linux starts booting and command prompt comes after few seconds.
7. Write passwd( to change password) on the prompt and press enter.
8. Enter your new password and press enter.
9. After processing when prompt becomes idle, write exit on prompt and press enter.
10. Computer will restart and boot the system with Linux OS.
11. When the Login screen comes enter username as root and password which you have given earlier at the prompt.
You have succesfully hacked the Linux root password which is the core.
